THE U-46 MUSIC PROGRAM IS PARTNERING WITH THE BOYS & GIRLS CLUB!

Our goal is to remove barriers for participation in music education!

WHAT:

U-46 music program is partnering with the Boys & Girls Club to provide after-school care for students who travel to middle school campuses for ensemble practice.
Boys & Girls Club provides a safe and fun place with life-enhancing programs and caring mentors!
To ensure the safety of all Club members, elementary members will be grouped separately from middle school teens while at the middle school campus.
Includes after-school snack in partnership with U-46 meal services program
Does not include activity bus transportation home in the evenings. Parents can pick up anytime after school by 6:30pm at the middle school campus.

5th and 6th grade band and orchestra students
Eligibility: Must demonstrate that both parents are working after school to qualify for program through the CCAP determination process.

WHO:

WHEN:

Mondays through Thursdays on the day of the week that your student has ensemble practice, from 3:30-6:30pm.
Each student is only eligible to participate one day per week at the middle school location.

Complete an application for the Boys & Girls Club by clicking HERE and selecting the U-46 Music Ensemble Membership option. Then select the corresponding school that your child will rehearse at.
Please review registration webpage for more information regarding the enrollment process
If students are interested in registering for the Boys & Girls Club at their elementary school site to attend on days when they are not at rehearsal, they may do so; however, the two memberships are separate. Membership at the Club with the Music Ensemble program does not guarantee membership at the child’s elementary program location.
